Club Policies

1. A member must have five postable rounds played with the MVMG prior to participation in any major tournament. (Approved by all members of the board)

2. We should no longer assign a handicap to a new player who does not have an established handicap. New players w/o handicaps could play team events without entry into the sweeps. In team play their score will determine his handicap for team purposes. Once five (5) rounds have been recorded, a handicap will be developed. During the (5) rounds sweeps entry and payout will not be available to the new member.

3. Membership dues will be assessed as follows: 

a. A new member will be assessed the full $40 membership fee if he joins between January 1 and June 30 of any given year.

b. A new member will be assessed $20 membership fee if he joins between July 1 and September 30 of any given year.

c. A new member will not be assessed any fee if he joins after Oct 1 through December 31 of any given year.
